Airalo, which uses eSIM tech to offer cheaper international mobile data packages, has secured US$60 million in a series B funding round. The firm will use the funding to expand following a Covid-induced hiatus for the travel sector.

Airalo’s monthly revenue has grown 20% in recent months, logging one million app downloads in the past three months. The company offers almost 700 different mobile data packages, serving customers in 200 countries.
