Day one of The International 2014 (TI4) is drawing to a close, but not without results, as the sixteenth and final team has been determined.
Team Liquid emerged victorious in the last round of the wild card qualifiers. Here’s a complete list of teams for TI4:
Although eliminated from the tournament, Korean team MVP.Phoenix has definitely had an impressive run considering it was less than a year ago when Dota 2 became openly available in Korea. The Korean underdogs beat Virtus Pro 2-0 in a best-of-three series, successfully securing the first win in the tournament, but fell to Team Liquid in the finals of the wild card qualifiers. Chinese team CIS, on the other hand, lost 2-1 to Team Liquid in the first round.
