Monster Hunter 4 makes the most awkward commercial I’ve ever seen

Capcom has made some pretty bizarre commercials trying to push their latest Monster Hunter title. They even had ten different cities across Japan make their own ads using the area’s famous locations, people, and food to promote the new 3DS game. Those were strange, but never as weird as this newest ad.

This new ad shows the three little pigs sitting around a table playing Monster Hunter 4, when all of a sudden, the big bad wolf barges through the door. However the ad has a twist to this beloved tale. The wolf is not there to devour the three little pigs. On the contrary, he’s there because he is tired of playing Monster Hunter 4 alone.

It is a touching commercial that shows how Monster Hunter can bring people together. That is, until the pigs start making fun of the wolf for how bad he is at the game.

Only in Japan right?

The commercial will no doubt launch a string of shorter versions that will air on TV over the next couple of months. Here is the first one.
