Gentlemen, start your engines: Driveclub prices and pre-order info for Asia now available
The English and subtitled-Chinese Asian editions of Playstation 4 (PS4) exclusive Driveclub will hit the streets on October 7 at a price of S$69.90 (about $56), along with a Playstation 4 hardware bundle pack priced at S$699 (about $563). If Sony’s last announcement for Asian street dates is anything to go by, these promotions will apply to Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.

The Driveclub hardware bundle will include the game, a Playstation 4 console, 12 months of Playstation Plus, a S$15 ($12) Playstation Network card, and a one year extended warranty service for the PS4. Pre-orders for the game will start at authorized dealers and Sony stores from August 1, with pre-order premiums including a Driveclub keychain and towel.
Digital downloads of the game will be available at S$62.90 (about $51), while existing Playstation Plus subscribers will be able to download a PS Plus edition of the game for free. This edition will include limited tracks, cars, tour events, and racing locations, and can be upgraded to a full game via a S$54.90 (about $44) upgrade pack.
For the early adoptors and first-day purchasers, there will be a premium of the McLaren 12C pack, Mercedes SLS AMG, and RUF RT12 R cars, downloadable off the Playstation Store. Do note that these premiums are only for people who snag copies of Driveclub from its initial retail shipment, and won’t be found in subsequent productions.
