In 2021, Indian conglomerate JSW Group established JSW One Platforms to tap into the country’s fast-growing manufacturing and construction sectors.
Today, JSW One Platforms operates both JSW One MSME, a B2B tech-enabled marketplace, and JSW One Homes, a turnkey home construction unit.
With over 500,000 building and manufacturing MSMEs in India, JSW One Platforms aims to cater to their needs with regards to building materials.
To that end, the firm has raised US$25 million from Japanese conglomerate Mitsui. JSW One Platforms will use the new funding to expand to more locations in India and invest in its credit and logistics capabilities as well as its technology stack to improve customer experience.
In a statement, Mitsui said its investment in JSW One Platforms will lead to a restructuring of supply chains in India.
