Eureka develops robotics technology to automate tasks in electronics, automotive, 5G telecom, and other industries. The firm is known for its IkeaBot machines that can assemble furniture from the Swedish home goods conglomerate.
The startup was spun off from Nanyang Technological University in 2018. A year later, Eureka launched Archimedes, a robot used for optical lens manufacturing.
The company plans to use the fresh funds to speed up the development and commercialization of its Eureka Controller, a product used for tasks in factories that require high accuracy and agility.
Eureka also intends to open new offices in Japan and Vietnam while strengthening its presence in Singapore and France.
