In brief: Matrix Partners commits $300m for latest fund
Early-stage venture capital firm Matrix Partners India announced the closing of its third fund with committed capital of over US$300 million. The firm had made recent investments in grocery delivery app DailyNinja, marketing platform MoEngage, and scooter rental Vogo. Its current portfolio includes Ola, Dailyhunt, and Treebo.

Matrix Partners will continue to follow its existing investment strategy of backing “exceptional founders.” However, it plans to steer away from “overheated sectors” such as food tech.
