In brief: Malaysia’s Nexea adds 3 local startups to its portfolio

  • Malaysia-based venture capital firm Nexea announced that it has injected RM 1.7 million (US$416,000) into three local startups: ParkIt Solutions, an online vehicle parking services platform; Plush Services, a rental management startup; and RunningMan, an on-demand food-delivery service.
  • Nexea, which is also a startup accelerator, funds tech startups with RM 50,000 (US$12,000) up to RM 1 million (US$245,000).
  • To date, the firm has invested in about 20 companies, including Red Dino VenturesLapasar, and WeStyleAsia.
