We wrote about MadeiraCloud two months back. It’s a visual integrated management environment (VIME) which allows users to design, build, and manage their application. Recently, it has announced that it will also allow users to share the entire cloud applications by just sending an email.
The setup is easy: all the technical team is required to do is to set up the application once. Subsequently, the sales and training staff can then login and send an invitation to clients via email. MadeiraCloud then takes over from here, launching all resources involved in the application to automatically resolve host names to the newly created instances’ private IP addresses using its “Intelligent Network Management technology.” Daniel O’ Prey, founder and CEO of the Beijing-based startup, also tells us:
Crucially, the environment is not active until the client accepts the invitation, meaning companies are only paying for the required resources only when a client is using them.
Its CTO, Peng Zhao, added:
Cloud applications are complex and consist of multiple distributed resources. Being able to share a single server isn’t enough, customers need the ability to share everything involved with the application – including servers, storage, network and software – as it would be deployed in a production environment, and it needs to be quickly accessible and just work.
