Nodwin Gaming, the esports and gaming arm of Indian entertainment firm Nazara Technologies, has acquired a 51% stake in Singapore-based live media company Branded for an undisclosed sum.
As part of the deal, Nodwin Gaming will take over all of Branded’s event intellectual properties. It will also bring onboard a team led by Branded CEO Jasper Donat, who will focus on growing Nodwin Gaming’s IPs as the esports firm looks to expand globally.
One of Branded’s platforms is All That Matters, a conference and connections hub featuring music, sports, gaming, marketing, and arts. The Singapore-based firm also produces It’s a Girl Thing, a touring festival focused on young women, and CreatorWorld, an event platform catered to influencers.
Meanwhile, Nodwin Gaming provides esports-related services such as content creation, brand activation, and talent management. It also handles its own IPs such as Playground, The Premiership, and NH7.

The acquisition will expand Nodwin Gaming’s ecosystem and add a new dimension to its current IPs, co-founder and managing director Akshat Rathee said in a statement. He added that the two companies share similar synergies and common interests across industries.
