Legends Hearthstone tournament to feature Southeast Asia's top talent

If you’re a fan of competitive Hearthstone in Southeast Asia, you might want to clear your schedule for Saturday, August 2. On that day, starting at 12 noon, a new Hearthstone tournament called The Legends will kick off, and it promises to feature some of Southeast Asia’s top talent.

The tournament will be a single-elimination bracket with players facing off in best-of-five matches until an ultimate winner is crowned. Confirmed players already include Vietnam’s Kurenai (#3 in Southeast Asia), Malaysia’s fizdarth (#6 in SEA), and the Philippines’s WaningMoon (#9 in SEA). Many of the other top players from the region will also be attending, and the invited but not-yet-confirmed players list includes Singapore’s ShinyPants, the fourth-best Hearthstone player in the world and number one in Southeast Asia, as well as his fellow countryman Azuresky, who’s ranked 18 in the world and number two in Southeast Asia.

Hopefully we’ll get to see everyone who’s invited participate in the battle, but even if we don’t the action should be immense. The tournament will be live-streamed on Epic Gaming TV’s Twitch account, so when the time comes you’ll be able to catch all the action there.
