Love is infectious: The Last of Us DLC confirmed for Valentine’s Day
Nothing says “true love” like post-apocalyptic tragedy and so Naughty Dog has decided to ruin/improve Valentine’s Day by launching their long awaited Left Behind DLC for The Last of Us. The launch date has been confirmed for US accounts only, but we will update for Asian accounts as as soon as we can.
Left Behind is a prequel to the original game, where we will get to see how Ellie becomes infected and what becomes of her best friend Riley who is mentioned at the end of The Last of Us. According to Ashley Johnson, the exceptional actor who plays Ellie, Left Behind will focus on a much more playful and childlike Ellie from before she experiences the true horrors of her time.
However please bear in mind that Naughty Dog are the people who had no problem experimenting with themes like paedophilia, rape, and murder in The Last of Us so I think its safe to say that Left Behind will be pretty damn intense. Nonetheless I’m expect tears, heartbreak and a foreboding sense of doom to accompany me this Valentine’s Day, so for me at least, nothing will be changing.
