The tie-up will include conference collaborations and ecosystem grants, among others. Through these initiatives, the companies aim to “scale-up the NFT ecosystem, strengthen ties, and bring greater visibility to Asian NFT projects worldwide,” Klaytn said in a statement.

This makes the company one of four blockchains supported by OpenSea, in addition to Ethereum, Polygon, and Solana.

David Shin, head of global adoption at Klaytn Foundation, said the partnership is a critical step toward building a blockchain for metaverse, GameFi, and the creator economy and that it will support the growth of the Klaytn ecosystem in Asia.

The firm has previously partnered with Singapore-based Altava Group, Thailand-based East NFT, Japan-based Soramitsu, and China’s Blockchain-based Service Network.

With the tie-up, crypto projects and developers will be able to tap into Klaytn’s developer tools and resources, as well as the Klaytn Growth Fund, for their projects.
