Kisti Wants to Become Asia’s Default “Pay Later” Button, Starting in Bangladesh

BANGLADESH – 24 June 2026 – A new way to pay is arriving at Bangladeshi checkouts. Kisti Limited, a homegrown fintech startup, is preparing to launch its zero-interest Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) platform in August or September 2026. With its flagship product, Pay in 4, shoppers can split a purchase into four easy payments while merchants get paid in full, upfront.
The name says it all. Kisti means “installment” in Bengali, and that’s exactly the promise. Buy what you need today, pay over time, and never pay a taka in interest.
Bangladesh has become one of Asia’s fastest-moving mobile-money economies, yet no one has become the default “pay later” button at checkout. Kisti was built for this moment. It was designed from the ground up around the mobile financial services Bangladeshis already use, not retrofitted from a credit-card playbook borrowed from somewhere else.
Kisti Pay in 4: one simple idea
Split any purchase into four interest-free payments. No interest. No traps. No surprises. For shoppers, it turns one big bill into a few small, predictable ones. For merchants, the pitch is just as sharp. More conversions, bigger baskets, and happier customers, with the payments funded so shoppers pay nothing extra.
Built for the people the system left behind
For all its digital momentum, Bangladesh is still a country where most adults have little or no access to formal credit. Credit cards reach only a small slice of the population, and millions of capable, hard-working people are shut out simply because they have never had a way to build a financial track record.
Kisti sees that not as a problem but as the opportunity of a generation. By meeting people on the mobile-money rails they already trust, Kisti opens a responsible, interest-free path to credit for shoppers who have never qualified for a card. Every on-time payment helps build a digital repayment history, the kind of footprint that can one day unlock larger, fairer access to finance.
This is what financial inclusion looks like in practice. Not a slogan, but a checkout button that says yes to people the old system kept saying no to.
Kisti is founded and led by MD Tasin Tyson, whose fintech experience across the Middle East shaped the vision behind the company.
We’re not here to fit into the system. We’re here to change it. Kisti makes credit interest-free, transparent, and fair, and we’re starting in Bangladesh to take it across Asia.
— MD Tasin Tyson, Founder and CEO of Kisti

Bangladesh is just the beginning
Kisti’s ambition reaches well beyond its home market. Across Asia, hundreds of millions of young, digital-first consumers are coming online and into the economy faster than traditional banks can serve them. From South Asia to Southeast Asia, the same story repeats. Huge, ambitious populations, thin credit histories, and an outdated financial system struggling to keep up.
Kisti wants to be the brand that closes that gap. Markets such as Nepal and Malaysia sit firmly within its long-term vision, as it works toward becoming a checkout option consumers across the region reach for by default, and a genuine engine of financial inclusion as it grows.
This is more than a product launch. It’s the first step in building a pan-Asian payments brand, one that puts flexible, interest-free, consumer-friendly credit within reach of millions who have never had access to it before.
Buy now. Pay in 4. Pay nothing extra. That’s Kisti.
