It was a short work week (thank goodness), so I drafted this newsletter on Wednesday instead of the usual Friday. But even then, we saw 87 deals worth a total of US$1.5 billion take place across the region. Talk about huat!

BIGGEST DEALS BY COUNTRY
🇨🇳 Fenbi Education: This Chinese edtech startup scored a US$390 million series A round from Huaxing Capital, IDG Capital, and TrustBridge Partners.
🇮🇳 MakeMyTrip.com: The Indian travel-booking platform raised US$200 million in debt financing.
🇰🇷 Influential: The company behind South Korea-based audiobook platform Welaaa got US$20 million in series C money from UTC Investment.
🇮🇱 Virility Medical: The Israeli medical device startup raised US$8 million in a series A funding round from Almeda Ventures and Arkin Holdings.
🇻🇳 Go2Joy: Formerly known as Appro Mobile, the Vietnam-based hotel-booking app raised a series A round worth US$2.3 million from HB Investment and Platform Partners Asset Management.
