Jungle Ventures’ fourth fund hits first close of $225m
“Southeast Asia’s funding boom is set to continue, with Jungle Ventures, a Singapore-based venture capital firm, announcing today the US$225 million first close of its fourth fund. The fund started raising in mid-May and is targeting a total of US$350 million,” TechCrunch reported.
Details:
- Most of the new fund’s limited partners have also participated in previous ones. Partners include Temasek, International Finance Corporation, DEG, and global and regional family offices.
- The latest fund will inject about US$1 million to US$15 million into firms’ series B rounds and look for follow-on investment opportunities.
