Job Requirements:

• 2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Methodology & Process: Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), with practical experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Test Design & Execution: Proven track record of designing, writing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Automation Experience: Practical experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web, mobile, or API applications.

Scope of Work:

• Automation Testing: Proficiency in at least one test automation framework (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework).
• API Testing: Hands-on experience testing REST APIs or GraphQL using tools such as Postman, or insomnia.
• Programming & Scripting: Solid foundational knowledge of languages commonly used for test automation, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Database & Querying: Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries for backend data verification and test setup.
• Soft Skills & Core Competencies
• Critical Thinking & Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset to identify edge cases, potential failure points, and perform root-cause analysis on defects.
• Technical Communication: Ability to clearly articulate bug reports, reproduction steps, and test coverage status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the product lifecycle.
