It's SEA versus China with $6,400 up for grabs in Blizzard’s global Hearthstone challenge

Hearthstone players from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam, you have been summoned. The next two weeks of the ongoing Battlestone Hearthstone league will serve as qualifiers for a massive contest against China’s best Hearthstone players later in the month.

In Battlestone, players will fight it out in best-of-three Swiss rounds in the preliminary qualifier, with the top sixteen players moving on to the next qualifier. There, players will play best-of-three matches in a double elimination format with class elimination to determine the four players who will represent the region.

The regional showdown will take place online during the Battlestone finals on June 21 and 22, where there will be four matches, each with one SEA player against a Chinese player. The winner of each match will receive a hefty 10,000RMB ($1,600).
