Indonesian VC firm Init-6 has announced an investment in the country’s Uma Women organic sanitary brand aimed at greater accessibility in retail and online platforms, according to an exclusive statement sent to Tech in Asia.

Bukalapak’s founder Achmad Zaky is one of Init-6’s founding partners.

Uma Women’s products address the growing demand for eco-friendly options, which will soon be available in various drugstores and online platforms in Indonesia.

Uma Women’s CEO Jeanne J said the partnership is to provide women with safe, environmentally conscious products, although the statement did not specify the amount.

“Our long-term goal is to stimulate broader dialogues and innovations within women’s healthcare, fostering awareness, education, and advancements in this critical field,” she said.
