Insignia Ventures Partners, Wavemaker Partners, and Seeds Capital led the round, which included participation from new investors Kickstart Ventures, TH Capital, Pine Venture Partners, On Asset Management, InnoVen Capital, as well as a group of angel investors. Existing investors Singtel Innov8 and Great Noble International also participated.
Iglooworks’ solutions, which include enterprise-grade variations of existing products and a lineup of new products, are managed through a dashboard designed to monitor large numbers of access points. It incorporates new communication protocols such as NB-IoT, Cat-M, and Z-wave to allow for added online features.
The company plans to pour the new funds into research and development of new products and software. It will also support new and existing distribution partners globally, with a focus on Europe, the US, and Asia Pacific.
According to a statement, Igloohome has over 100 distribution partners and more than 100 integration partners. It’s working with property developers such as Thailand’s Sansiri, Japan’s Mitsubishi, and Vietnam’s CapitaLand.
With the recent funding round, PropertyGuru co-founder and former CEO Steve Melhuish will be joining Igloohome’s board.
