iPhone 5S and 5C expected to arrive in Indonesia on November 15th? (UPDATED: Nope!)

(Update: MakeMac pointed out that iPhone 5S and 5C will not be arriving in Indonesia this week as seen on Apple’s website.)

Kompas today revealed an interesting rumor about the possible arrival date of Apple’s iPhone 5S and 5C in Indonesia: November 15th. This date originally comes from AppAdvice and is Apple’s fourth launching wave across multiple countries for the handsets. One indication is how the Philippine telcos are starting to open pre-orders for the two phones, and Indonesia was grouped together with the Philippines during the iPhone 5 launch. So it makes sense that Indonesians can expect a November launch.

This rumor is further fueled up by Kompas, which confirms that there are two new iPhones awaiting confirmation on Indonesia’s ICT ministry website. They are iPhone – A1529 (iPhone 5C) and iPhone – A1530 (iPhone 5S). Both phones have entered the last stage of approval: certifications have been printed.

Don’t count on your luck regarding the arrival of the iPad Air or new iPad Mini in Indonesia, though. The latest official version the country has right now is the old iPad 3. Indonesia doesn’t even have an official iPad Mini here yet! If you’re still keen on getting your hands on the new iPads, you may want to check the availability in other Asian countries here.
