Indie mobile card action game Super Awesome Quest is open for beta testing!

A while back, we talked about Boomzap Entertainment’s upcoming game, The Quest. Actually, it’s one of several upcoming games, but is probably going to be one of the first to be fully-revealed, as Boomzap Entertainment has just announced two things.

One, The Quest is now officially Super Awesome Quest, and two, it’s open for beta testing.

While Boomzap has long been known for its hidden-object-puzzle-adventure games, it also has a solid reputation for fine visuals and storytelling. During Casual Connect Asia 2014, sneak previews we had of its upcoming games also told us that the company is starting to move away from the beaten path, and is looking to forge its own instead.

Super Awesome Quest is a true deviation from Boomzap’s tried-and-tested HOPA games. This flipboard-style collectible card game plants you in a fantasy world where you will do battle with bandits and other enemies. Designed for commuters, it’s also playable with just one hand (keeping in mind that you need the other to hang on to a hand rail).

You can get in on the action by signing up for Super Awesome Quest’s second beta phase. All you need is an iOS or Android device, and to sign yourself up here.

Unfortunately, this build is under a non-disclosure agreement, so we won’t be able to write about it. You’d best go experience it for yourself!
