Indian VC firm raises $75m in initial close of fourth fund
Prime Venture Partners, an India-based venture capital fund, announced the launch of its fourth fund, which raised US$75 million in its first close.

- Founded by Ezetap board members Shripati Acharya and Sanjay Swamy in 2012, Prime Venture Partners added Amit Somani as a partner in 2015. It is actively looking to bring in a fourth partner to expand its leadership team.
- It invests in only five to six companies a year. With its first three funds, the company has committed capital to 32 companies such as MyGate, MFine, Dozee, and Niyo.
- The VC supports entrepreneurs with business and product strategy, hiring, partnerships, marketing, finance, and capital raises.
