Indian logistics major slashes around 250 jobs

FarEye, an Indian software-as-a-service logistics firm, has let go of roughly 250 workers amid shaky market conditions, sources told The Economic Times.

In response to questions from the publication, FarEye said the move was part of a team restructure. In the coming year, the company will zero in on areas that drive “maximum value” for its users, said CEO and co-founder Kushal Nahata.

Established in 2013, FarEye offers logistics and supply chain management services across over 30 countries. It currently serves over 150 clients via its offices in India, Singapore, the UAE, the US, and the UK.

With the restructure, Nahata said the company is bolstering its core competencies and focusing on automation, optimization, and product differentiation.
