New Delhi-based Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), which was established in 2018 within Anglian Omega Group and makes electric three-wheelers and small commercial electric vehicles, said on Aug. 18 that it partnered with Electra AI.

The partnership will add real-time battery health monitoring, predictive analytics, and state-of-health data across OSM’s electric vehicle ecosystem.

OSM said the system is expected to support proactive maintenance, warranty management, and data-driven product development.

It is meant to reduce unplanned downtime and give customers, fleet operators, retailers, and financiers more visibility into battery performance.

Electra AI, a Boston-based software company that specializes in battery intelligence across the battery lifecycle, said its platform is designed to deliver state-of-health insights to OSM’s dashboards.

OSM also said the partnership is meant to bolster confidence in India’s used electric vehicle market by making battery health more transparent.

That aligns with RMI’s view that clearer residual-value estimates can lower risk for buyers and financiers, and support growth in second-hand electric vehicle sales and lending.
