WazirX, an India-based cryptocurrency exchange, launched WazirX AI, a trading assistant on its app and website that lets users ask about live crypto prices, market news, macroeconomic developments, and portfolio positions, and then prepare spot or futures trades in a chat interface.

The tool can show supporting charts, account value, profit and loss, open positions, and proposed order details, including entry price, leverage, margin, stop-loss, take-profit, and estimated loss, before a user approves a trade.

WazirX also launched a paper-trading sandbox with a simulated US$100,000 balance for strategy testing, and said the assistant is available on Android, iOS, and the web.

The company said the assistant uses live price data from the exchange and can send alerts when user-defined market conditions are met.

The exchange said it is registered as a Reporting Entity with India’s Financial Intelligence Unit and follows know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering processes.

The company statement did not mention WazirX’s 2024 hack or subsequent restructuring, and later reports on those events fall outside this announcement.
