Prior to her appointment, Le also served as COO and CFO of Misfit, a wearables-and-smart-home-technology startup she also founded.
With the appointment, the company wanted to highlight the importance of the Vietnam market for Go-Jek, with its counterpart in the country being its first expansion to Southeast Asia. Go-Viet was launched in Ho Chi Minh City back in August 2018.
The Indonesian Grab rival announced Go-Viet alongside Get, its ride-hailing app for the Thai market. The ride-hailing app developed by Go-Jek for the Thai market was launched in December of last year.
