In brief: India aerospace startup lands seed funding to boost prototype development
- India-based aerospace startup Agnikul Cosmos has raised a little over US$423,000 in seed funding from seed-stage investment firm Speciale Incept Advisors.
- The startup aims to use the funds to accelerate prototype development by strengthening infrastructure and increasing team size.
- Angnikul Cosmos manufactures orbital launch vehicles capable of carrying around 100 kilograms of weight to lower Earth orbits.
- It expects to put the first flight into orbit within the next two years with test procedures throughout 2019.
