East Ventures leads seed round of Indonesian manufacturing startup
Imajin, an Indonesia-based manufacturing startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding in a round led by East Ventures. Init 6, the VC firm established by co-founders of ecommerce player Bukalapak, and 500 Southeast Asia also chipped in.

Founded in 2019, Imajin is a B2B platform that connects large companies to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) manufacturers in Indonesia. It focuses on metal and plastic products that serve different industries including automotive, electronic goods, and packaging.
The startup also provides quality assurance services and a platform for project management and raw materials purchasing. To date, it has partnered with more than 500 manufacturing companies.

Imajin plans to use the fresh funding to expand, develop products, and hire more staff.
The company was established by ex-MyGrowTech executives Chendy Jaya and Stefanus Hodir, as well as Joseline Olivia. In July 2022, Imajin raised an undisclosed amount of pre-seed funding from Init 6.
