Ohai! For this month’s Tech in Asia (TIA) founders meetup, we have Chang Sau Sheong, Managing Director at Singapore Power, to share insights on how you can scout for your technical co-founder or lead, motivate engineers or manage a technology team.
Sau Sheong, is a prominent engineer in the Singapore scene. More affectionately known as ‘Codefather’, he is involved in the Ruby and Go communities but was also one of the founding members of the Singapore Java Users Group way back in the mid to late 1990s.
Many people know Sau Sheong through the developer communities but he has spent most of his professional life in building and managing software development teams.
He was previously the director of global consumer engineering at PayPal, where he led a team of engineers to build consumer apps. He started his own tech companies, and did stints at HP, Garena, and Yahoo in various engineering roles.
