A while back, Riot Games took a pretty strict stance on third-party mods and Curse Voice, and we do mean strict. Over in China though, things are a bit different…
Riot Games is aware of what players want and with jungle timers recently added to the Public Beta Environment (PBE), this may be a sign of more/better things to come (summoner timers, anyone?).
But in China, Tencent’s League of Legends department has long been doing whatever the hell it wants with the “Official League of Legends Assistant”. Presented as a tool for players to “know the enemy and know themselves”, the LOL Assistant has some pretty nifty features that are great for new players. But then there are some that…probably aren’t that fair.
