SINGAPORE – 3 July 2026 – IDRX took part in MASA 2026, an event organized by Indonesia’s Ministry of Creative Economy (EKRAF) at Takashimaya Shopping Centre, Singapore. Through its participation, IDRX introduced how Rupiah stablecoin-based digital financial infrastructure can support the transformation of Indonesia’s creative economy through two key use cases: cross-border remittances using Rupiah stablecoin, and IP tokenization. Under the theme “From Creation to Value,” IDRX’s presence demonstrated how digital financial innovation can create new economic value while maintaining compliance with regulation and consumer protection. The participation also signals that Indonesia’s digital asset ecosystem is moving toward greater integration between blockchain technology and the real economy, while preserving the sovereignty of the Rupiah.
Amid growing demand for more efficient cross-border payments, Rupiah stablecoin offers an alternative infrastructure that enables remittance transactions with lower costs, faster settlement, and greater transparency compared to conventional payment channels. This solution has significant potential to support millions of Indonesian diaspora members and Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in sending funds home more efficiently.
Beyond remittances, IDRX also showcased the role of Rupiah stablecoin as a settlement layer within the IP tokenization ecosystem. Creative works such as music, visual art, design, and other forms of intellectual property have the potential to be transformed into digital financial assets that can be distributed transparently and in line with applicable regulatory frameworks. Through tokenization, the economic rights to a creative work are represented as a digital token, unlocking new liquidity and funding access for creators without changing the underlying ownership of their work.
“Indonesia has enormous creative economy potential. For that potential to grow in the digital era, we need financial infrastructure that can bridge the creative world with the digital economy. Rupiah stablecoin can become one of the key foundations for delivering transaction efficiency while supporting the emergence of Rupiah-based digital asset innovations, keeping the Rupiah relevant in the digital economy,” said Nathanael Christian, CEO of IDRX.
PT Central Finansial X (CFX), the institution overseeing crypto asset trading in Indonesia, affirmed that as a licensed digital financial asset exchange supervised by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK), its role is to provide infrastructure that supports digital financial asset innovation responsibly and sustainably. As an infrastructure provider, CFX operates within a three-pillar structure alongside clearing and guarantee institution PT Kliring Komoditi Indonesia (KKI) and crypto asset custodian PT Kustodian Koin Indonesia (ICC), supported by more than 20 licensed Digital Financial Asset Traders (PAKD).
“Innovations born from industry players like IDRX, combined with the vast potential of the creative economy sector, need a secure foundation to gain global recognition. Fulfilling the mandate of the P2SK Law, CFX is here to ensure that this digital asset economy is built on regulation-compliant infrastructure. It is this synergy between exchanges, technology innovators, and creators that will allow digital financial assets to deliver utility that directly contributes to the national economy,” said Subani, President Director of CFX.
IDRX’s collaboration with the Ministry of Creative Economy (EKRAF) at MASA 2026, backed by support from CFX, reflects a shared commitment to building a more inclusive, innovative, and globally competitive digital ecosystem in Indonesia. Through synergy between technology innovators, regulators, infrastructure providers, and creative industry players, Indonesia has the opportunity to strengthen the Rupiah’s position and relevance in the digital economy, while opening up broader access to funding and markets for Indonesian creators.
IDRX’s participation in MASA 2026 also served as a moment to introduce Indonesian innovation to the international community in Singapore, while opening opportunities for cross-border collaboration in the development of digital financial assets, cross-border payments, and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization in line with the evolution of national regulation.
