IDBlogNetwork Receives Funding From East Ventures

We’ve just received news from Idblognetwork, Indonesia’s blog advertising network, that it has successfully landed investment from East Ventures.
Some of our readers might remember Idblognetwork from when we last wrote about its success in its early days. The blog network turned profitable in three months and is expanding aggressively across Indonesia. Back then, we also learned that the start-up didn’t have plans to receive investment. But only four months later, it seems its position has changed.
Idblognetwork currently has 5,000 blogger members and has been actively connecting bloggers with brands for advertising opportunities. It has also held events like Blogilicious and ASEAN Blogger Declaration in an effort to unite Indonesian bloggers into one big community.
Since May, the blog network has grown from 3,500 to 5,000 bloggers. We can expect more growth from the startup as the blogging scene in Indonesia continues to flourish .
Kukuh T Wicaksono, co-founder and CTO of Idblognetwork, told PO:
With funding from new investors East Ventures, I hope Idblognetwork can help blogging activity in Indonesia, sharing positive experiences, and grow together with bloggers.
Along with co-founder Mubarika Darmayanti and East Ventures, the team looks all set with experience and cash to take Idblognetwork to the next level.
Meanwhile, East Ventures has been pretty busy in the last couple of months, having started a 100-Day accelerator program and invested in several start-ups in Indonesia, including Soybeansoft, and now Idblognetwork.
Disclosure: East Ventures is an investor in PO
