Peeba’s new supply chain director, Benny Wong, will focus on developing predictable product delivery after the pandemic disrupted the firm’s just-in-time system.
Before joining Peeba, Wong served as the COO at ecommerce fulfillment company ZhenHub and at Morning Express & Logistics Limited. He also founded and led Shipforyou Limited, a Hong Kong-based global shipping services firm.
Brian Lee, on the other hand, was appointed Peeba’s new vice president of product. Lee was previously the product lead at travel and leisure ecommerce platform Klook, where he helped grow its food and beverage, entertainment, and insurance segments.
Lee was also head of product at productivity company Lifehack.
Peeba CEO Jacky Lai said that the new executives will help support the company’s high-growth phase. The company raised US$4.2 million in an April seed funding round led by Headline Asia. Peeba’s platform links 1,500 brands to 25,000 retailers across Asia.
