Under the partnership, Exclusive Networks will sell Transcelestial’s solutions to its current customer base of mobile network operators, internet service providers, and enterprises in all ten markets.
Founded in 2016, Transcelestial’s laser communications tech makes it possible to beam fiber-grade Internet without the need for any wires between buildings, cell towers or street-level poles. This can be implemented in a fraction of the time and cost of physical fiber cables.
Charles Han, Transcelestial’s company’s newly appointed global channel strategy and program lead, and Sunny Tham, its global channel sales lead, will spearhead the company’s expansion plan. Han has previously held senior leadership roles at VMware, Cisco, and Citrix. Meanwhile Tham has over 20 years of experience in the Asia-Pacific point-to-point wireless connectivity market.
Exclusive Networks provides cloud and cybersecurity services. Its ‘local sale, global scale’ model serves clients with international reach via a single point of contact.
“Exclusive Networks is putting its trust and weight into this partnership to address what Covid-19 has made most urgent in the telecom industry – an accelerated rollout of transformational network upgrades,” said Brad Gray, senior vice president of APAC at Exclusive Networks. “We see a distinct and timely opportunity here for first-movers to lead the charge and define the future of connectivity.”
