UPDATE 24-06-2014: Great news, Microsoft has said this isn’t the launch bundle, so you can expect more goodies to come! We have edited the story accordingly.
After months of silence, Microsoft is finally getting back into gear for the launch of the Xbox One in Singapore.
Singapore players who buy and redeem a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription before the end of June will be entitled to a digital Xbox One version of Ryse: Son of Rome and Killer Instinct Ultra Edition add-ons worth S$100 ($80). The games will be playable when the Xbox One console launches in the little red dot on September 23 this year.
Right now, we know that the S$639 ($512) Xbox One console set for Singapore will include a console with a 500GB hard drive, a Blu-ray player, built-in wi-fi, an Xbox One wireless controller, and a free 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial for new members. The addition of these two game freebies puts Singapore’s bundle on par with what the Japanese market will be getting, albeit at approximately $160 more. However, since that Microsoft has clarified that this is not its launch bundle, you can still keep your hopes up for that $160 value to be filled!
