Indonesia’s Stockbit rolls out crypto trading app

Stockbit, an Indonesian investment platform, has rolled out a crypto trading app called Stockbit Crypto.

The company provides crypto trading services through Coinbit Digital Indonesia, which is licensed by the country’s commodity futures trading regulatory agency.

Stockbit Crypto is currently only available on the Google Play Store. On its website, the company said users can trade crypto without incurring platform fees on the app.

With this addition, Stockbit now provides three investment services, the other two being stocks through its main app and mutual funds through the Bibit platform.

“For now, those who can use Stockbit Crypto are still by invitation only, not publicly accessible,” said the company’s spokesperson. He could not comment on when the service will be made available to all users.

In June, Stockbit competitor Ajaib launched a similar feature, with the investment app also unveiling a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT as its mascot.
