Haiti Relief: Google Donates $1 Mil. Lets Do Our Part Too

haiti earthquakeWe have tweeted and talked about it but if no actions were taken, the buzz would mean nothing. Google has taken the initiative to donate $1 million to help organizations provide relief (and that is just one out of the many reasons why Google has always been one of my favorite companies).

SMS donations are only accepted in the U.S. so for the rest of us, we could donate at Google’s crisis response page. I made a small contribution and hope you would do the same too.

On a caution note, beware of scams that are lurking around. There are people out there ready to take advantage of such tragic situations.
