Hello reader,
What are the industries that are commanding the bulk of fundraising dollars? Well, we all know AI’s top of the list. This week, 15 of the 65 companies on our fundraising list operate in the space, and there are plenty more that definitely use AI in some way, but are tagged as “fintech” or “ecommerce” or such.
But while AI has volume, the health and biotech sector has scale. The largest deal in our dataset is a US$787 million strategic investment into Earendil Labs, and there are numerous investments into early-stage biotech investments, signalling keen interest in the life science sector.
As they say, health is wealth. In my view, it’s certainly a sector to watch.
You can find all other important investment deals that happened in the last few days in our weekly funding news wrap-up.

Let’s dive into the biggest deals and M&As that recently took place.
