Grab aims to triple its Indonesia EV fleet by end-2026

Grab said that it launched Langkah Hijau Grab untuk Indonesia, a campaign to support energy efficiency and lower-emissions mobility in Indonesia.

It plans to expand its electric vehicle (EV) fleet and add app features meant to reduce fuel use in rides, food delivery, and parcel delivery.

The company said its EV fleet in Indonesia exceeded 28,000 vehicles as of May 2026, up 2x from a year earlier.

By the end of 2026, Grab aims to raise that total to more than 3x the previous year’s level. It also plans to support driver-partners with various operational incentives.

The company said wider EV adoption by Grab driver-partners supports Indonesia’s goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2060 or earlier.
