GPL Summer week one day two results round-up

Following yesterday’s exciting matches, the Garena Premier League (GPL) continued with four more games as teams from Southeast Asia and Taiwan battle to qualify for the Season 4 World Championship!

Saigon Fantastic 5 (SF5) versus Neolution E-sports Full Louis (NFL)

Winner: SF5

MVP: SF5 QTV – Caused disturbance all around the rift and produced a fantastic Dragon’s Descent onto multiple members of NFL.

Neolution E-sports Full Louis (NFL) versus Insidious Gaming Rebirth (IGR)

Winner: NFL

MVP: NFL SofM – Great map-movement and superior mind-gaming allowed him to shut down IGR ly4’s Kayle.

Bangkok Titans (BKT) versus Insidious Gaming Legends (IGL)

Winner: IGL

MVP: IGL Zappy – His well-timed roots on Zyra created great picks and rendered Pantheon’s ultimate useless.

Imperium Pro Team (IPT) versus Taipei Assassins (TPA)

Winner: TPA

MVP: TPA Jay – His rotations were immense for his team; the support and being at the right place at the right time gave them the overwhelming victory.

In yesterday’s game between SF5 and Wargods (WG), SF5 was awarded the victory, placing them in the driving seat of Group B. TPA took full control of Group A as they seek to consolidate a consecutive hat-trick of the GPL.

Singapore has mixed fortunes as Insidious Gaming got off to a 1-1 start; a win for Legends and a loss for Rebirth. NFL achieved their first win in two games as opposed to four in GPL Spring, reflecting a possible improvement, while BKT’s loss is not helping them to shake off their perennial underachiever tag.

Stay tuned for the following matches tomorrow:

  • Saigon Jokers (SAJ) versus BKT
  • ahq Fighter (ahq F) versus IGL
  • Machi e-Sports (Machi) versus IGR
  • WG versus ahq e-Sports Club (ahq)

The games will kick off at 18:00 hours (GMT +8) and you can watch the livestream here.
