Google’s Launchpad Accelerator is back for a fourth round, this time selecting startups from an even more diverse regional footprint.

Nine startups represent Southeast Asia, coming from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Google’s acceleration program gives selected startups equity-free support and a week of training at Google’s Launchpad space in San Francisco. This is followed by six months of remote training back in their home base.

This year, the curriculum will “dig deeper into machine learning and AI,” Google’s global lead for the program, Roy Glasberg, said on Google’s developer blog yesterday. Launchpad class four kicks off in July.

Here are the nine startups from Southeast Asia that made it in.

Indonesia

Cicil lets Indonesian university students buy items online and pay for them in monthly installments without a credit card. It got seed funding from East Ventures in 2016.

Nadipos is a restaurant management platform helping to simplify operations and analytics.

Sirclo is a tool that helps businesses build websites through which they can sell online. It’s also backed by East Ventures.

Malaysia

HealthMetrics assists companies who want to manage their employee’s health benefits efficiently and cost effectively.

Philippines

Bloom attempts to transform remittance businesses with blockchain technology.

Honesty Apps looks like it hasn’t fully launched yet. In the app’s self-description on Facebook, it says it’s in the business of making people meet – at conferences, in school, at tradeshows, at parties, or in the context of dating.
