Google Cloud, AI startup Lovable expand multiyear pact: sources
Stockholm-based Lovable, an AI coding startup, and Google Cloud have expanded a multiyear collaboration.
Under the agreement, Lovable will increase its use of Google Cloud by about fivefold and gain broader access to Anthropic’s Claude and Google’s Gemini models, according to people familiar with the matter.
The partnership will also add an integration with Wiz to help identify and address code security issues in real time.
The June 3 agreement expands an existing relationship rather than starting a new one.
Google Cloud is becoming one of Lovable’s primary technology partners, as the startup said users now create more than 1 million new projects a week.
Lovable recently raised US$330 million at a US$6.6 billion valuation.
Google said users built more than 25 million projects in the platform’s first year, and applications built on Lovable drew 600 million visits a month.
