Glance grows FY25 revenue by 33% as AI goes in style

InMobi, the Indian adtech giant, said last year that it was expecting its Singapore-based mobile content subsidiary, Glance, to hit profit in June 2026, driven by its AI-powered shopping platform.

Audited financial statements for Glance InMobi Pte. Ltd. show that Glance logged US$105.9 million in loss before taxes in its 2025 financial year (FY 2025) ending March 31.

Total revenue grew 33.5% in FY 2025 to US$97.6 million from US$73.1 million the prior year.

An InMobi spokesperson declined to comment on the firm’s financials.

Google-backed Glance is most known for its AI-powered content-discovery platform, which is embedded on Android smartphone lock screens.

In May last year, it introduced Glance AI, a genAI commerce platform that can create outfit recommendations based on a user’s photos, as well as generate suggestions for home and beauty items.

Users can tap on the product, which will lead them to the brand’s website or an ecommerce platform for purchase.

Glance AI also opens up more advertising opportunities for the company, as brands compete for top spots in these recommendations.

Glance’s contribution to the firm’s core adtech business “is expected to be very large, but it is hard to predict [how much] it will be,” Naveen Tewari, founder and CEO of InMobi Group, told Tech in Asia in May last year.

Singapore overtakes India

Glance partners with device manufacturers and telcos, including Samsung, Motorola, and Verizon, to display advertising and media content. In FY 2025, revenue from its advertisement services rose 54% to US$61.7 million.

Another revenue stream is the shipping and marketplace services it provides through its India-only platforms Roposo, a short-video platform, and social commerce platform Shop 101. Overall, this business line drew US$32.4 million in revenue in FY 2025.

Neil Shah, co-founder of market research firm Counterpoint Research, tells Tech in Asia that while Glance’s social commerce side is “still relatively nascent,” additional AI capabilities could make the service more intuitive and operationally efficient over time.

Singapore overtook India as the company’s largest market by revenue in FY 2025, generating US$49 million compared to India’s US$40.2 million. Earnings from its other markets – US, Japan, and Indonesia – nearly doubled year on year to US$8.3 million.
