Bandai Namco gaming fans in Singapore are in for a treat, as the company sponsors BattleField Fridays’ newest event – the Bandai Namco Gaming Night. According to an announcement on the BattleField Fridays official Facebook page, Bandai Namco Gaming Night will be a regular event, which includes tournaments for titles such as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, Soul Calibur, Tekken, Gundam, and Naruto. It’s run in conjunction with Play Asia.
The first gaming night featuring a Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z tournament will be held on February 21 at St. Games Cafe, Bugis+. All participants will receive an exclusive Vegito keychain while the winner will receive the 25cm Goku figurine that can only be found in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z‘s collector’s edition.
The tournament will only accept 30 participants and has a pre-registration only policy. Registration is free so if you’re interested in joining, head over to their online registration page. Aside from the tournament, attendees will also be able to try other titles such as Mobile Gundam: Extreme VS and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.
Bandai Namco Gaming Night is the first sponsored event hosted by BattleField Fridays ever since it was formed in 2010. Prior to this, the community-driven team only had the Colosseum cybercafe and Tough Cookie Gaming Cafe as their venue sponsor, and occasionally even had to bring their own sticks.
