Most game jams in India are a blink-and-miss affair, and the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM ) wants to change that with what is possibly India’s biggest game jam. Together with Mindbox, a creative education program offering game development courses, it will be hosting Game Jam Titans, a month-long game development competition that will span six Indian cities from August 22 to September 28. These are Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Hyderabad.

The jam will be open to college students and professional, and also has confirmed participationg from more than 50 schools from each area. Incidentally, it’s the first time NASSCOM is targeting school kids we’re told. Winners from each city will showcase their games at the NASSCOM Game Developer Conference in Pune later this year, with a chance to win a national title.
