Hello readers,
I’m a frequent Reddit user: This is probably obvious, given how often I pad the “Deeper Reads” section of this newsletter with Reddit threads when I can’t find more articles about venture capital. I often get a lot of the news I consume via the online forum’s “Popular” page.
In the past few months, it’s been littered with posts about cryptocurrency, what with the explosion of memecoins like Dogecoin and the meteoric rise (and fall) of various mainstream cryptocurrencies’ values.
I don’t really understand crypto so I don’t invest in it. But one thing that is clear: The future of finance is digital, whether it involves cryptocurrency or not. And it’s clear that investors know this as well because this week, three of the five top deals raised were by startups in the fintech space.
You can find all other important investment deals that happened in the last few days in our weekly funding news wrap-up.

Let’s dive into the biggest deals and M&As that recently took place.
