Meet the 8 startups graduating from French accelerator Numa’s first batch in Bangalore

French accelerator Numa today announced the graduation of its first batch of eight startups from its Bangalore branch, which it had opened last year in partnership with co-working space Cobalt. Numa’s other branches are in Casablanca, Moscow, Barcelona, and Mexico.
Its first cohort in Bangalore covers a wide range of domains from healthcare and education to fashion and augmented reality. Here’s a look at the eight startups which graduated:
1Plify
1Plify is an edtech startup helping students in choosing and applying to universities around the world. It’s useful for students to have multiple colleges and courses in a single portal. For 1Plify, being in an international accelerator is a plus as it seeks to bring more and more universities on its platform. 1Plify is currently focused on students in Nigeria, according to a Numa spokesperson.

Canvazify
Canvazify is a collaboration tool for virtual teams. It has features to help with online brainstorming and task management, as well as quickstart templates for SWOT analysis and other team building and monitoring activities. Canvazify had also been chosen among the 45 most promising software product startups by think tank iSPIRT.

Flippar
Flippar provides augmented reality solutions for increasing user engagement. Its users range from furniture stores to art galleries, helping their customers to visualize the products in different settings. Its founder Vivek Jain is an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus.

Najdik
Najdik is an online food store specializing in regional specialties. India is a diverse land, with each region having its own appeal. From Hyderabad’s Karachi Bakery to Mysore Pak from Anand Bhavan, Najdik – which means ‘near’ in Hindi – brings them all closer to foodies.

Fullonwedding
Fullonwedding is a marketplace for everything related to weddings, which are elaborate affairs in India. From venues and caterers to decorators and photographers, the Fullonwedding site connects users with a wide range of vendors.

Piki
Piki is an app to let businesses run short surveys on targeted audiences for quick decisions. It promises to deliver results within four hours. The surveys are limited to three questions as speed of response is the USP here.
