Freight logistics startup Ezyhaul lands $16m to expand to Indonesia, Philippines

Freight and logistics tech startup Ezyhaul banked US$16 million in a series B round to fuel its expansion into Indonesia and the Philippines.

Offering a range of online logistics services and solutions, the startup currently operates in Malaysia, Singapore, India, and Thailand. Ezyhaul plans to use part of the new funds to drive further technological innovation, according to a statement.

Through Ezyhaul’s platform, clients can book for domestic and cross-border road freight transportation services online. Transportation companies can then accept shipments through the platform, maximizing vehicle utilization.

The platform provides integrated route optimization technology, real-time track and trace visibility, invoicing, and proof of delivery. Ezyhaul also recently launched a control tower that monitors truck movements, provides intelligent exception alerts, and predicts the estimated time of arrival.

The company claims that in 2018, it managed more than 50 million kilograms of freight across Singapore, India, Malaysia, and Thailand through its platform.
