Founders Drinks is Back! This Month’s Focus: Social Media For User Acquisition

Update: (1) We’ve added one more new panelist – Tania Chew (her bio below). (2) Founders Drinks is sold out!

Just a pic. There's nothing to read between the lines. Credit: lovelylovestoryy

We have always admired how e27 has played a major role in the tech start-up scene in Southeast Asia. That itself has brought both e27 and Penn-Olson closer together, like two kids with a mutual crush.

I had some discussions with one of its founders and thought it would be great to revive the Founders Drinks event, which was last held four months ago. That was quite a while back, and I seriously felt that start-up founders in Singapore should have some events to network with other tech start-up founders on this island.

The result: Both e27 and Penn-Olson will jointly hold the Founders Drinks on August 31. It’ll be at Amazon Web Services, Capital Square, 23 Church Street, #10-01, 049481 Singapore.

mig33-babes

Sorry. We failed to get the mig33 girls down.

Besides your individual skills and passion, it’s the people in your network that often make the difference between success and failure. One of my mentors loves reminding me of the old saying: “It’s about who you know, not what you know that matters.”

Besides beer, food, and networking we have also lined up a series of interesting talks and a panel of industry experts to share how you can use social media for user acquisition (more about the big names below).

We’ll also have two start-ups, Qlubbr and Gastro Couture, who will share their ideas and explain how they use social platforms for their businesses. If you’ve have read this far, I guess this is your kind of area, so don’t hesitate to register below. It’s free. And I hope to see you there.
